Update on My Tattoo (day 21)

It’s all healed and finally “set”. I haven’t had any skin flaking off for a couple days now. It still feels raised slightly compared to the background skin but it is a very subtle texture, not like the first day I got the tattoo.
I tend to get dry skin in the winter time so I imagine I will need to apply some moisturizer to it in the chilly depths of February. Until then, I can just forget about maintenance of it.

PS: I had some folks tell me it looks H-U-G-E in the pictures. That is just due to the large pixel-size of the pictures and the closeness of the camera to my arm—I took all the tattoo pictures myself holding the camera in my other hand. This tat is only one inch high by four-and-a-half inches wide.

What A Gorgeous Day

Today has been an absolutely beautiful day with bright sunshine and mild temperatures in the mid 50s. I took a break from writing this afternoon to snap a few pics of the bushes and trees in and around my Mom’s yard.
