So, I came across this Public Service Announcement on YouTube. It’s pretty funny and perfectly produced to reach their target audience, young males between the ages of 17 and 38. There is a corresponding PSA targeting women in the same age range but its humor is not nearly as juvenile or puerile. Enjoy!
You would NEVER find a similar type of PSA produced by the government in this country as we are too prudish about anything remotely sexual. I think it is awesome the provincial ministry of health for Ontario is so upfront about the possible side effects of contracting mumps (and willing to use the word “balls” repeatedly in a government-sponsored PSA). I have had the mumps vaccinations but I never learned about this particular side effect from contracting the disease. So, I got to learn something new, and LOL, while watching a 45-second video.
