Froth, Spittle, and Bluster

Things I Do Like

I intend this page to be a work in progress, adding new items to the list over time. If for some reason I decide to remove something from the list I will strike-out it like this instead of simply deleting the item.

•    The number 16

•    Walking barefoot through freshly mowed grass

•    The sound of children laughing

•    Friendly dogs

•    A single, cold Hoegaarden beer on a hot Summer day

•    The color orange (my new favorite color for about three years now)

•    Pie with a good ratio of crust to filling

•    Beethoven and Bach (but not Brahms)

•    Holding hands

•    Paintings of nautical/maritime scenes

•    The poetry of Pablo Neruda

•    Victoria, Rose, Phoebe, Magdalena as possible girl names
•    Ian, Francis, Desmond as possible boy names
(It is highly unlikely I am ever going to have kids of my own but
I have been lucky enough to be Crazy Uncle Dennis for my three
biological nieces and to the sons and daughters of several friends)

•    The whistling sound of boiling water in a tea-kettle

•    wool scarves, hats, and mittens

•    wearing corduroy pants in the winter-time

•    Houses with radiator heat instead of forced-air heat

•    Prevost and van Hool tour buses
(The tall narrow kind that are just now starting to become common-place in the United States.)

•    The sound of ringing church bells

•

•
